SENIOR RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT / MANAGER (AWA1000288)

Location(s): Guildford, Surrey

Brief: Our highly regarded client is looking for a professional individual to take over, manage and grow an existing desk, supplying technology and engineering professionals and managers to primarily the telecoms and rail sectors. Main responsibilities will include Account Management and Development of existing clients throughout the UK and occasionally Europe, as well as New Business Development and subsequent management thereafter.

They will also be either a) experienced working in a technology / engineering / telecoms / IT business prior to getting into recruitment or b) have experience as a technology / engineering / telecoms recruiter, team leader or manager.

Other key requirements are as follows; An entrepreneurial instinct with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills coupled with relevant experience, with a proven track record of both Business Development and Recruitment; First class communication skills, with the credibility to work at the highest levels; Articulate, with good written English and with an eye for detail; IT literate; A track record of personally delivering >160K GP / year (combination of both contract margin and permanent fee income).

Other desirable skills include; experience of working to the REC's Code of Conduct; REC Member (any level); Experience of drafting copy for internet job adverts; Experience of leading and growing a small team of Recruitment Consultants; Experience of responding to RFI's / ITT's, preparation of bids and conducting client presentations; Experienced in reviewing and negotiating client terms; Marketing skills

Candidates who have hopped jobs one time too many and/or possess a confrontational or aggressive approach to sales need not apply.

- Commission - uncapped. [Commission rates start at 10% of GP (with no starting threshold), rising on a sliding scale to 30% of GP for substantial over-achievement of target
